Everyone hits bottom, but everyone’s bottom is different—therein lies the suspense. At what point will the protagonist recognize he or she is trapped in a zero sum game? Will it happen before she loses everything, assuring herself of a chance at recovering that which has been lost? Or will she burn everything to the ground, reaching the point where she physically can’t go any further and anyone who has ever loved or respected her will never do so again?

Truth or Fiction

Check out this new reading series at the San Diego Central Library. The reading will take place every 2nd and 4th Sunday beginning September 27th. Attendees will get to guess whether each reading is truth or fiction and then have the opportunity to participate during the open mic portion. Prizes for best bluffer and best deceiver. Featured readers include Zohreh Ghahremani, David L. Ulin, Judy Reeves, Shanna Mahin, Andrew Roe and yours truly on December 13.
